Iler Plastering originated in Mt. Oreb, Ohio with Four Brothers, all of whom became plasterers. Two of the brothers, Ben and Ed Iler came west in 1918. First to Phoenix Arizona, then settling in Santa Monica, California. They continued a plastering business until 1940. At one period of time Ed Iler was Building Inspector for the city of Santa Monica.

Three generations have built Iler Plastering into the respected business it is today-still committed to excellence in workmanship and integrity.

In his late years Ben Iler was succeeded by his son Gordon Iler and more recently his grandson Elden Iler who received and apprenticeship from both his grandfather and father. In 1981 Elden was awarded a contractors' license of his own.

For over 30 years Elden has plastered or stuccoed primarily apartments and homes. In addition he has earned certification which he has qualified him to include waterproofing, exterior decking, exterior painting and elastomeric coating. His expertise also includes complete building restorations.

He and his crew are now serving most areas of the Valley and Los Angeles, as well as various coastal communities.
